4 Days!

$28.80!
$20 in rolled change was an exchange with someone for a piece of folding money.
But it still goes in the piggy!

Two Days Total

$3.61! The penny was actually found money - when I got out of the car at Target, I looked down and what to my wondering eyes should appear, but a bright shiny penny from I don't know what year!
Don't you love found money?
Do you ever find any?

Sunday's Piggy Food

Slow day today, but tossing 80 cents into the pig today:)
So, did you feed your pig today?

Today's Piggy Food

I feed my pig everyday. On average, we will have 4 full banks by the end of the year with an average yearly savings of @ $900.00. Not too shabby for loose change collected daily.
Do you feed your pig everyday? It's an easy way to start saving.

So for today, we have $1.95 to add to our yearly savings.

My Personal Piggy Bank

So what is your piggy bank of choice? Old school pink plastic, glass jar, large, small? Here is mine! Simple, free (we have tons of these at my office), with a handle for carrying and a lid to close it up when he's fat and happy! The best kind of bank is sturdy but not too large - after all a huge container full of change is impossible to pick up! Keep it nondescript. If someone walks in my house, all they will see is a coffee container. If someone walks in and sees a big Mason jar full of loose change, then that may be a little tempting.
Go ahead and find you a piggy bank and let's start saving!

Hey There, My Frugal Peeps!

Let's get started on our thrifty little journey, shall we? A little about me - I love to save money, find money, make money, and stretch a dollar until it begs for mercy. Every single day I try to do at least one thing that is a money saver. I will share my financial goals and strategies and would love to hear about yours!
